Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a good housewarming gift for someone who just moved?
Yes. It's a universally useful upgrade that fits any bathroom, dorm, or RV right out of the box, and the multiple color options let the recipient match their own space.
Can I gift the 2-pack to a couple or roommates?
Absolutely. The 2-pack is a popular gift for couples, college roommates, and newlyweds because it gives both people a coordinated storage piece.
Is this a thoughtful birthday gift for a college student?
Yes. It's compact, dorm-friendly, and solves a real shared-shower problem, making it a practical birthday or back-to-school gift students actually use.
Would this work as a small Valentine's or Mother's Day gift?
Yes. The polished handle, multiple color choices, and practical everyday use make it a meaningful yet affordable gift for moms, partners, and friends.
Does the packaging look presentable, or do I need to wrap it?
The caddy arrives ready to gift. Its clean design and color options look intentional on their own, though a simple ribbon or gift bag adds a nice touch for holidays.
Can I ship it directly to the recipient as a surprise?
Yes. It's lightweight and compact, making it an easy-to-ship gift that arrives intact and ready to use, no assembly required.
Is this gift useful for someone who isn't into 'home stuff'?
Yes. The portability, easy cleaning, and shower-focused design make it functional rather than decorative, so it appeals even to people who don't usually want home goods.
Is there a version of this gift for a guy in my life?
Yes. The Black, White, and Darkblue options are popular gift choices for husbands, dads, brothers, and male roommates who want practical bathroom storage.
How do I clean and maintain the shower caddy?
Rinse the basket under running water or in the shower to remove soap residue. The hollow design and drainage holes let water flow out, and the smooth ABS plastic wipes clean with a soft cloth if needed.
How do I set it up when it arrives?
There is no assembly required. The caddy arrives ready to use, so you just place it on your counter, in the shower, or under the sink and load in your toiletries.
How much weight can the handle support when fully loaded?
The handle and ABS plastic construction are designed to comfortably carry a full set of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and razor bottles to and from a shared shower without bending or flexing.
Will it fit full-size shampoo and body wash bottles?
Yes. The 11x8x6.5 interior is sized to hold standard full-size bottles upright or on their sides, along with razors, loofahs, and other shower essentials.
Can I use it in places other than the shower?
Yes. Customers commonly use it under the kitchen sink, in a pantry, on a bookshelf, in the laundry room, in an RV, and for pet grooming supplies, thanks to the portable handle.
What's included in the box?
You will receive either one or two Lifewit portable shower caddies in your chosen color (Black, White, Darkblue, or Pink). No additional hardware or accessories are required.
Is the plastic safe and free of strong chemical odors?
Yes. The ABS plastic is BPA-free, lightweight, and made for everyday bathroom contact. It does not have a strong chemical smell out of the box.
Will the color fade or stain over time with daily use?
No. The molded-in colors resist fading from water and sunlight, and the non-porous surface won't absorb soap, shampoo, or dye stains the way fabric caddies can.
How is a portable shower caddy different from a hanging shower caddy?
A portable caddy like this one has a built-in carry handle and sits on the floor, counter, or shelf, making it easy to move between rooms. A hanging caddy suspends from the showerhead and stays in place. Portable caddies are better for dorms, gyms, RVs, and shared showers where you need to take everything with you.
